Week 8 Term 3

   6-10 September

What’s on this week:

RE - This week we are continuing the Sacrament strand.  We are learning to identify some things God created and to demonstrate enjoyment of the wonder of God's creation.

Topic – We are continuing to learn about Space, the Sun and Moon and how day and night come about.

Maths – This week we are beginning to learn about multiplication as well as the months of the year.  We are to continue practicing the activities on www.matheletics.co.nz

Language – We are revisiting some of the letters we have been learning about.

Poetry books to be returned on Monday.

P.E. – Full P.E. gear on Wednesday and Friday this week.

Library books to be returned on Wednesday.

A note from the teacher:  A few children will be turning 6 in the following weeks and are therefore having their National Standards Anniversary dates.  The data collated on their anniversary dates will be e-mailed to you next term when Mrs Gore returns.  In the meantime I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
