Wednesday this week

• Room 9 and 4 are having a Mass at 9:15 as part of our Church Strand in RE. All Welcome

Thursday this week

• We have senior speech finals at 130 in the Parish Centre all Welcome

Friday this week

• We have a senior Assembly to celebrate the success of the children involved in ICAS
• Daffoldil Day - Please come dressed in Yellow and bring a gold coin that will go to the Cancer Society

Monday 30th August

• Zones Cross Country 12:00-2:30 at Bloodworth Park. The Children involved are Maya, Jeffrey, Michaela and Zac. Congratulations to those who were placed in the top 7. Good Luck at Zones

Our next sports exchange is against Meadow Bank School on Tuesday 7th September 1:30-2:50pm

Inquiry

We are excited by our new inquiry unit called "Food For Thought"

It has all come about by the website www.mccainveggiepatches.com A newsletter will be going out to you informing you what we are going to be getting involved in and what you can do to help.

We need your help for this unit as it is a community based sustainability unit that involves collecting barcodes from Mc Cain frozen veges and potaotes to donate to our school so we can purchase equipment to help us build our classes veggie patches. Please visit the website above to see first hand the sorts of things we want to achieve and how. St Michaels school is registered and you can keep track of our point system online too!!

I can tell we are going to have a lot of fun with this Science based environmental inquiry.
