Dear St Michael’s School Community,
We have come to the end of what seems a very long and unusual term. Our students and staff are certainly ready for a break to recharge our batteries. I hope you all stay safe and well.
Cloud Transformation – No Access To Emails
Over the next two weeks we are moving to the cloud. Technicians will be in our school to move all our data to the cloud. Staff will not have access to their computers over this time and will be unable to reply to any emails you may send them.
Parent Teacher Interviews
I hope you all took up the opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher to discuss their learning and their next steps. The teachers thought the interviews went well and really enjoyed this time.
Starting the first week of Term 3, each class will be having weekly dance sessions with tutors from Footsteps Dance Company. There will then be a concert to showcase the dances in Week 9 – Friday 18 September, 2 p.m. in the school hall. All are welcome to come and watch this showcase!

END OF TERM PRAYER
We thank you Lord, for this term. For our challenges, our successes, and the mistakes from which we have learnt. Be with us as we spend our time with family and friends. Give us strength and courage to do what is right: to be witnesses of our faith
Manaaki ki te Atua,
Girls’ Night Out
Thanks so much to everyone for joining us last night for our movie ‘Love Sarah’ at the Berkeley cinema in Mission Bay! It was another fabulous evening and special thanks to Regalo by KIM, New World, and Hoyts Cinema Mission Bay for generously donating goodies for spot prizes and raffles. Thanks also to Deahna Barrington for organizing a fun and successful evening once again (and for baking delicious cupcakes!).
Save the Date – School Disco

Plans are underway to prepare for the upcoming school disco which has the theme of “Virtual World” (as voted by the children)! Save the date for the family and watch this space for details regarding pre-purchase tickets.
