Kōrero Mai, Kōrero Atu, Mauri Tū, Mauri Ora – Speak Up, Stand Together, Stop Bullying! In Aotearoa, Pink Shirt Day works to create schools, workplaces, communities and whānau where everyone feels safe, valued and respected. We would encourage all students to wear pink mufti. If you would like to make a donation to the Mental Health Foundation, please feel free to bring in a gold coin. Please keep in mind that it is Pizza and Fruju Friday, so if you have a child in the Junior School, please label the money carefully, or hand it straight to the teacher!

Traffic Plan

We are receiving complaints from our neighbours with regards to our behaviour when dropping off and picking up. In some cases cars are blocking neighbours’ driveways and preventing those families from taking their own children to school.

The Health and Safety Committee (sub-committee of the Board) is revising the Traffic Plan for our school. We will be seeking your input  as part of a Community Consultation meeting later this term.

A gentle reminder to any parents who are coaching or attending sports practices in the mornings to please ensure that you do not park in the staff parking area on the church driveway.

Prayer for the Fire of the Spirit

“Lord of Power, just as the outpouring of Your Holy Spirit on Pentecost so drastically changed the lives of the disciples, may the burning fire of Your Holy Spirit refine and renew us, so that we will never be the same. May we move in the power of the Spirit, and may our lives and ministries be infused with Your divine, supernatural touch and authority. May the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation cause us to grow in our knowledge of You. Amen.”(https://connectusfund.org/)

The Blessing of the Reflective area and joint Parish/School social event will be taking place after the 10am mass on 30th May. This will be a relaxed community social event.

Everybody is welcome to attend and there will be a brunch served after the mass and blessing. The Parish are providing 7 people to help on the day and have asked if we as a school community could do the same.

We need 3 people to greet and usher people to the Reflective area after Mass and a further 4 people to help with food service and clean up after the event. Thank you to those people who have already volunteered to help, we are still in need of a few more please.

Please could you email us on ptasmcs@gmail.com or steveandsarah@hotmail.com if you would be keen to volunteer. Thank you!
