Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Parent Teacher Interviews - Thursday 30 July 2026

Important Timings for the Day:

• School Finishes: 1:00 PM (Please arrange early pickup for your child)

• Interviews Begin: 2:00 PM

To ensure all meetings run smoothly and stay on schedule, all interview slots are strictly 10 minutes. We kindly ask that you respect this timeframe so that other parents do not have their appointments delayed.

Specialist Teacher Locations:

• Music: Mr Tim Carson – Mary MacKillop Meeting Room

• Science: Mrs Zaza Fristiasa – Room 12 (furtherest room above the Hall)

• Health & PE: Miss Charlotte Bagnall – Library Office

Afterschool Care Services (1:00 PM – 5:55 PM)  

After School care will be available on-site for families who need it. However, spaces must be booked in advance:

• Already Enrolled Families: Please text or call Sayonara directly to book your child's spot.
• New Families: Please complete the enrolment form attached below before booking.

Please note: For safety reasons, students are not permitted to wait in the playground or walk around unsupervised. Please do not arrange to meet your child in the playground.

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

This afternoon, your child will bring home a Run-A-Thon sponsorship card and information letter. This is an annual fun activity that we do for the kids to make preparing for their Cross Country event fun!  We really appreciate your support in helping your child seek sponsorship from family and friends.

Every dollar raised goes straight back into the adventure playground project that benefits all our children at SMCS. Thank you in advance for supporting this fundraiser!

On a separate note, with our SMCS Cross Country coming up on Friday, 14 August, we'd also love to invite families to join the SMCS Running Club. A few parents have generously volunteered their time to help run these sessions, providing a fun and encouraging way for children to become familiar with the course and build their confidence before race day.

SMCS Running Club

• When: Friday, 31 July & Friday, 7 August (We may continue for a few additional weeks leading up to Zones if there is enough interest)
• Time:
  • 7:50 AM – Warm-up
  • 8:00 AM – Run starts
  • 8:30 AM (approx.) – Finish
• Who: Everyone is welcome! Parents are encouraged to join in. Please note: For safety reasons, children in Years 1–3 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Where: Top court, in front of the school office by the flagpole.

Marriage & Family Life warmly invites you to a special Grandparents Mass as we give thanks for the love, wisdom, and faith that grandparents and older people share with our families and communities.

We encourage grandchildren to bring their grandparents, and everyone is welcome to invite an elderly loved one they wish to honour.
