If you're on site for Parent-Teacher Interviews, please take a moment to check the items laid out next to the Caring Shed on the Top Court.

Any uncollected items will be donated to the Secondhand Uniform Shop.

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

On Friday, 14th August 2026 (Save date: Thursday, 20th August), we will be holding our full school Cross Country event at St Michael’s Catholic School.

The event will start at 10:00 AM and aim to be completed by 1:00 PM. Children will run in their year levels, starting with the Year 6 boys, followed by the Year 6 girls.

During Physical Education sessions, all children will have the opportunity to practise and familiarise themselves with the course.

Distances by Year Level

• Years 5 & 6 (Boys & Girls): 2.2 km (3 laps)
• Years 3 & 4 (Boys & Girls): 1.4 km (2 laps)
• Years 1 & 2 (Boys & Girls): 700 m (School circuit)
• Year 0 (Boys & Girls): 500 m (Modified school circuit)

We Need Your Help!

Our Years 3 to 6 students will be leaving the school grounds to run around the block, we will need parent support to marshal the course in order to keep our children safe.

• Marshals Needed: We require lots of parent marshals from 9:30AM to 1:00 PM.

• Sausage Sizzle Crew Needed: Following the races, we are holding a community celebration and Sausage Sizzle fundraiser (replacing Pizza Friday!). We need parent volunteers to help cook on the BBQ and distribute the sausages to classrooms.

If you are available to marshal or help with the Sausage Sizzle, fill out this link HERE by Monday 3 August 3pm. 

Community Celebration and Close of the School Day

Lunch 1pm-2pm, after the sausages are distributed, children will meet their family on the seats outside the junior school for lunch together. 

Children are able to leave with their families once lunch is finished or be picked up at 2pm. 

If you are unable to attend the event or pick up your child at 2pm please let your classroom teacher know. Afterschool care will still be provided at 2.55pm. 

Keep up the great work training and ticking off those miles for our Run-A-Thon to help fundraise for our new playground project! Thank you for your continued support of our wonderful PTA to ensure our tamariki have the best learning experiences possible.
